It is a full hd, dont look at a device manager (that info is wrong, we all have that), just look at the display settings and trust your eyes…

Actually, the Device Manager info is correct. Run HWinfo and you’ll find that the monitor panel resolution is 1024×768, whilst the display resolution is 1920 x 1080. These numbers are pixels per inch (ppi), which relate to the physical number of pixels that the display will support. As you say, the display resolution is higher than the physical resolution of the panel. The gap will be filled by interpolation – a bit like those old upscaling DVDs used software to mimic Bluray. That technique dithers pixels (uses an algorithm to work out a statistical ‘average’ between pixels to generate pseudo-pixels) to improve visible rendition. It certainly improves the picture as seen by the human eye, but upscaled DVD is not Bluray, and the Jumper panel is not really Full HD. Thats not a biggy if you’re happy with your display and, given that the spec has been as it is for some time its good at any rate to know that Jumper standards haven’t slipped recently.

I am 1000% its a full hd panel.  Believe me you would notice  1024×768 on a 13,3″. Even if you are blind… this laptop has 16:9 aspect ratio screen (you can measure it), but 1024×768 is 4:3 aspect ratio resolution… So anything would look distorted (streched) if you use 4:3 resolution on a 16:9 screen.

Actually, the Device Manager info is correct. Run HWinfo and you’ll find that the monitor panel resolution is 1024×768

Both  read the same hardware id, which is obviously wrong. Once again, just trust your eyes…

Sorry, but you are all wrong… The flat panel is reported as 1024×768 in Bios ACPI tables setting. The physical panel is a 1920×1080 but motherboard manufacturer didn’t include bios settings for it, so it is set automatically to the most compatible setting to 1024×768. But resolution is not interpolated or anything else by the system… This is native FHD with system 150% resizing for app and text with recommended default zoom… Panel controller report its native resolution and supported ones at given frequencies to the system. It doesn’t really matter because the generic flat panel driver is the same for any resolution…

If it is still annoying you, you can manually change driver to 1920×1080 flat panel in the device manager manually ^^

The attached picture is self explanatory ^^

Incidentally my EZB also has the BIOS advanced settings removed and faulty wifi problem that have been flagged on other forum threads. Seems like build quality is going backwards. As the EZB3P is the best of the apollo lakes I think I might skip to gemini lakes when they appear.

Check my posts, you can flash the v4 full unlocked bios to resolve your problems…

    Regards.
