EZbook 3 Pro – How to unlock the BIOS

The EZbook 3 Pro of @samt has been repaired successfully!
I had to manually flash the BIOS to the memory chip with a CH341A programmer + 1.8V adapter.

Is there available version 02/01/2018 of bios with unlock menu? I just received my jumper and it has this bios version.

Could you please tell me how can i do this dump. Ok I have already handled with dump, but i can’t attach rom file 🙁 here is the link:

Hope that new released kernel will solve ssd problems and will be compatible with my newly received jumper…

Received it two days ago and it’s loaded with 12_05_17 bios (probably v6 I guess)

I flashed you awesome 12_05_17 unlocked bios but, like others said before, I got problems with my WD Green 240gb ssd too.

You can try it at your own risk. I cannot check if it’s compatible or not.

is efi shell affected by flashing bios image ?

If not, it shoud be easy to revert back to 12_05_17 ?

You could get the blue LED of death (power on and only blue LED comes on).
There have been some cases of users who flashed the right BIOS and got it.
You can solve this problem by programming the memory chip with an external programmer.

I will wait a while with install modified BIOS and also ssd drive (@Gjuju). I have jumper for two days, it is my second jumper. The first one was sent back because of screen flickering. I want to check it to be sure that this one is ok, and then I will start to mod it.
