EZbook 3 Pro – How to unlock the BIOS

Ok i did everything.

I have the rom unlocked of the BIOS V5 Date 11/06/2017 14:30:19 Ver 3BANS010 JUMPER10x.P8.WP313P.NhNAUHL02

I dont have the guts to flash it hahahaha

While trying we also had some bios which didn’t work, but it didn’t result in a brick instead the efi shell showed up.

Ok i did it

But i didnt do this part:

“In addition we can also unlock the Factory TDC Limit and Factory TDP Limit options by moving them out of the Suppress If loop.
To do that we simply move the End If (29 02) at offset 16ECB to 16E69 (just after the Suppress If, to make the loop empty).
At the end just save the edited file e.g. ‘setup_mod.bin’”

There is any problem? i can unlock it anyway right?

Even with Bios unlocked and removed that power limit 1 on the bios….

I cant mantain 15w after 20 sec….

It’s written in the first post
“For now we are still working on how to properly unlock the Power Limit 1 so take this tutorial as a “preview”.”

To unlock the 15W limit use RW everything, go to ‘Memory Dump’ and set start address to 00000000FED170A0 the you should see the pattern 00 06 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 89 DD 00 00 8F 00 00 change the 89 to 8F for 15W and the last two zeros 00 in the line to 01 to lock the 15W (this number will disappear after a second). Done

This only works if you already unlocked the limit in the BIOS!

I have an Ezbook 3 Pro with V6 Bios. I can’t extract BIOS using tools attached. And I tried to flash the V6 unlocked file you attached in the other thread…all seems OK during flashing but nothing happens in the BIOS after the procedure
