I’ve not noticed that much of a change. Maybe 30 minutes in total running time? Not much really. I can still get a good 7-8 hours on my EBook 3 Pro using an SSD. What really makes an impact is screen brightness and RAM use. For example, 10-15 tabs in Chrome Vs say 5 tabs in Chrome which uses a lot less.

The best of Apollo Lake laptops for sure is this new EB3P V4 still maybe the Air beats it, but it will be around the $300+ mark so not as cheap.
And Chuwi also seems to lock the bios as of late.

Does this mean there’s no extra space in there to install m.2 2280 like previous rev? So it’s similar to ezbook 3L pro?
I ordered mine on the the 17th and shipped out at 25th, about to find out which rev I got once it arrives later today.
August 29, 2017 at 10:10 am #71135I think there is enough space for m.2 2280 ssd, you just have to remove the black plastic frame and one screw – see the attaached picture.

Thanks, is there a proper way to remove plastic frame without prying it out
Also, do you have reboot issues on the preinstalled windows? My sister who just received the latest revision ezbook 3 pro complained that the windows 10 hangs randomly& reboots itself
Should she restore windows or just reinstall new windows?
August 29, 2017 at 1:25 pm #71143Can someone dump the new bios so I can flash it on to V3 and get the power limit option?
August 30, 2017 at 11:46 am #71189I just ordered one from Gearbest yesterday, should ship soon. Super excited, I’ll be sure to post pictures and test it with my 2 favorite games: Kerbal Space Program and Dwarf Fortress. I should have some free time when I get it, so I’ll be willing to run some tests if anyone wants. I won’t have an SSD, so keep that in mind.
September 5, 2017 at 3:18 pm #71582Can we uninstall touchpad blocker on rev. 4 ? Since it now has a precision touchpad?
September 5, 2017 at 9:08 pm #71597Did they add the missing keys POS/HOME + END and Page Up + Page Down, INS, DELETE?

September 6, 2017 at 8:49 pm #71676Has anyone tried to boot Linux on this laptop? Just want to make sure it will work before purchasing. Thanks.
September 7, 2017 at 3:57 pm #71715Anyone know if Lightinthebox sells v4? http://www.lightinthebox.com/jumper-laptop-13-3-inch-intel-apollo-quad-core-6gb-ram-64gb-ssd-64gb-hard-disk-windows10-2gb_p6105995.html?prm=1.5.1.1&sku=1_47&country_code=se¤cy=SEK
I ordered from gearbest almost 5 days ago and still haven’t shipped, they say it will take 10-15 days until they restock.
September 13, 2017 at 5:42 pm #72080I just got mine from GearBest today, and man is it amazing. The touchpad works perfectly with no problems that I can tell. There is that scrolling lag in Chrome that’s quite common. So far I’m super impressed and quite happy with this purchase. Best 250 I’ve ever spent!

same here its realy amazing
all works very good, the touchpad on V4 is great it works very good
the only thing is the keyboard it fits on the left side not perfect but it works its not realy a deal breakerSeptember 16, 2017 at 9:51 pm #72225In a week I will meet my friend, who also bought Ezbook 3 Pro after my recommendation. Therefore I will be able to directly compare V3 (AC WiFi, M.2, bad touchpad) and “V4” (with tiny flap for SSD, new BIOS and Precision touchpad). I wonder if Chris will do it before me.
It will be interesting to see if there are any hardware changes. For now I suspect the touchpad might just have new drivers and tweaks.
