I got my EzBook 3 Pro v4 (dual WiFi, SSD slot) a few days ago, but since I was on vacation I could only test it today. Unfortunately, the device won’t charge using the supplied charger. I’ve checked the charger’s voltage and it does output 12 volts, so could it be a problem with the connector or even the PCB?

I’ve already opened a RMA ticket, but I wonder if someone else has had the same problem. I’m tempted to open the machine and have a look at the connector from the inside but I understand this would void the warranty, right?

    Regards, Marcos

Did you use the charge port on the right side of the Laptop?

You would not be the first who tried to charge it through the headphone connector.

I have the same problem, charge light not coming on after maybe 30 hours use (right side charge port), charger seems to be ok green LED on, charge wire not damaged, but dead laptop, no power, was not damaged or shorted in any obvious way. Have opened a ticket, they offered repair or $20 credit (ha ha)

I can ship it back for repair, but has anyone had a good repair experience? and is it Jumper or gearbest doing the repair? If the motherboard was shorted as was suggested to me, will they be able to fix it? Or should I bring it into a shop to diagnose? (gearbest says warranty voided if opened)

I can ship surface insured for about 45 bucks, so definitely better than scrapping 250$ unit. Air is $100, too expensive
