Glad to report that my F5 – which I mainly use when I travel is still “usable”. Hinges are weak of course, and keys are showing there age.
I was astounded to see that I could update to Win11 23h2 after setting up TPM(Trusted Platform Module) in the bios (ver 3.06 which was the original).
This appeared in the Windows Updates!! Unfortunately, I don’t remember details.
I was even more surprised to see 24h2 available, and did that upgrade last night.
I did run into WIFI issues and couldn’t connect to my WIFI 6 Router. Got stuck for several hour, and finally resolved this by downloading WIFI drivers from Intel here:
