Hi sorry for the delay, maybe you have your hi12 now.

    1. Yes works with English
    2. Possible the battery is so flat it will not boot or stuck in shutdown/sleep/hibernate. Steps to fix this are hold the power button down for 14 seconds to make sure it’s 100% off and then leave it to charge overnight. Then 3-4 seconds push of the power button followed by a few taps of the button it should power on.

If that fails, your Chuwi Hi12 might have received some damage in transit cuasing the battery to come loose damaging the internals. You could open it up and have a look or best to get in touch with Banggood to get a replacement.

I received mine today from Banggood – screen not working. When I plug it in to an external monitor the touch works fine, but the screen is pitch black. Trying to find a solution for this now, I hope you’ll receive a working unit.

Thanks for your responses! Good to know. I expect my tablet to arrive tomorrow. Let’s hope for a good unit. It seems as long as it boots up the first time (with the screen working) and charging works, it’ll be fine. I think it’s (the working units that is) a really amazing tablet for it’s price range. I even really like the design of the build. And once that keyboard finally arrives, it’ll look even better.

I need help. I was playing with RemixOs  last night and bricked my Hi12. I did a reset and now I don’t have any network adapters. Also, the Intel software is gone and the sound driver is also missing. I did a second reset with same results.

Should installing official Hi12 flash win10 firmware and driver fix my problem?

Use double driver and restore drivers. http://techtablets.com/chuwi-hi12/downloads/

Nicolas, thanks for the response. I really appreciate it.

Can you tell me what I need to do next? I downloaded the file and unzipped it to a flash drive.

My early ordered (february 2016) Chuwi Hi12 last 4 weeks before it went completely dead 🙁
Impossible to power up (Yes I`ll tried hold down the power button for 14 sec. and charge the unit overnight) no luck.
Is returning the unit to Gearbest, hopeing to get a new one that last longer than 4 weeks.
