Factory reset erasing loop – help!

I used the factory reset button in settings.  The Android figure appears with ‘Erasing…’After a while it goes to the red Chinese logo the back to’ Erasing… ‘ It has been going for over an hour.  I need urgent advice as to what to do, please!

Flash mirek ROM using the instruction its a great ROM. Your tab will be fine and windows will be untouched

Thanks for that. I was hoping to do a factory reset first so I would have a ‘clean’  Android to fall back on if I didn’t like Mirec Rom. Given I cannot even do a factory reset I am worried I might not be able to flash Mirec.

Anyone have other options please?  (still looping!)

Dumb question.

Do I need an Android version in order to root? Looks as though I don’t have one as it is deleting.  Does installing Mirec Rom require rooting first? I’m not sure at this stage exactly how to proceed to be honest.
