So like a few people my Hi8 started working ok on the first day, although the swap from android to Windows was always a bit slow. The next day I noticed it was slow to start up in Windows too, then it stopped reliably starting up at all, even after I had charged it. On one occasion it told me the battery was flat when it wasn’t and vice versa.
Yesterday it did a Windows update (Windows 10 was already installed when it came) after which the Wifi on the Windows side failed. The Wifi button just sliding back to the Off position no matter what I did.
Today, I can no longer get it to boot into Windows at all, after several reset attempts where it just hangs at around 85% forever! Now I can’t start up in, or move over to Windows from Android at all anymore. On the last couple of attempts I got an error message: ” Interactive sign in process has failed, Please check event logs for details” No, really? :-/
The more I have attempted these things, the more glitchy it became until I got to where I am now, locked out of Windows. In less than a week of use.
I have found a firmware update that is supposed to fix these bugs but I’m not sure I can rely on this tablet to allow me to try and install them, and I wouldn’t really know how to anyway.
Any idea’s anyone? I seem to have a combination of other problems that I’ve read here, rather than just the one!
