Film & TV App can't find audio device

Just wondered if anyone else has encountered this issue: I rented a movie from the Windows store and chose to download rather than stream but when I try to play it can’t find the audio device so can’t start the movie. Audio device is Intel SST and working great for all other apps. I have EqualiserAPO installed but didn’t really want to remove it to see if that’s causing the problem as that’s given the sound a nice boost.
