Flash x98 pro image on X98 plus

Hi, I only need Android and I’d like to remove Windows altogether. Considering the pro and the plus have a very similar platform, do you think I have good chances of flashing the pro ROM onto my plus?

Is there a stock image in case I brick it? Couldn’t find it anywhere. I don’t mind if I lose Windows

Alternatively, Can I skip the OS selection altogether? I tried to play with the BIOS but if I changed the base OS to Android it wouldn’t boot anymore
