Greetings my friends! Any way to clone dump the eMMC to an external backup drive, USB Flash Drive (Pen drive) or microSD Card?

I need to backup everything including Windows and Android boot partitions, data partitions, recovery partitions before doing anything on the tablet.

Used to doing this on desktop and mobile HDD (EIDE/SATA) using DOS Norton Ghost 8.0 PE on Windows full disk clone (file structure and partitions and boot) but have no idea on how to do this on an embedded eMMC with dual boot Windows and Android.

    Thanks!

I think you can use CloneZilla. I have used it for backup an entire ssd on my laptop and I have restored it without any problem. You can make a bootable usb with a CloneZilla image and boot Clonezilla Live to do the backup, it is very simple, there are a lot of tutorials in internet.

Now just reset Android and Windows. Preparing for Macrium Reflect Backup in WinPE mode.

Just a thought, Android seems not to recognize exFAT format, but recognizes FAT, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, not sure about EXT2 and EXT4, did not try.

Windows recognizes almost all formats but not sure about Linux partitions.

    Hi.

I’m very interested in these topic.

Is possible make a full backup with dd from a virtual machine.

For me the clonezilla solution is impossible since I can’t select boot order from my bios pipo w6s)

    Thanks
