Hi, Was hoping to ditch the iPad Mini 2 and swap my games over to Android on the Teclast x98 pro. But I have some issues with Real Racing 3 It works but looks nowhere near as good as the iOS version. Could this be due to the Intel chip, does it not have the power to run the game at the same resolution as the iPad Mini 2? Or is it just poor Android optimization? Also having the same issues in Injustice God’s among us. Looks great but keeps stuttering. I am running the v4 mirek rom (which is great) any tips on improving gaming performance on the Android side of the tablet? Otherwise the Marvel games Future Fight and Contest of Champions and Asphalt 8 run great and look on a par to the iPad versions so confused as to the disparity in quality of the games? On the Windows side Half Like 2 and Fallout 3 have been a blast and look great..
it’s a bit of both, the games are better optimized on ios because of the limited devices to support and the gpu in the ipad mini 2 is actually very powerful for a tablet. Edit looking at raw specs the gpu is about the same in both so it must be down to drivers/optimisation. I also have a mini 2 and it’s clearly a lot better at gaming than the x98 pro (in terms of performance – I love playing old games on the x98) bit of a shame really, hopefully a new updated version will come out at some point with better gaming power.
