Chuwi hi8 only support Android 4.4 and windows OS. You can’t update to Android 5.0 now. But It is not impossible. I was told that it may be updated in future from Chuwi staff on Chuwi Official forum.

If you don’t need Android OS,you can delete it. But you can’t delete Windows OS.

The right driver can be download from Chuwi Official forum ( i think it is the most official ), including firmware, Bios, driver, tutorial, etc.

So I have now a new updated Win10 and Android 4.4. Is there a way to install TWPR and root (SuperSU) to put up Custom Roms, but without deleting Win10?

I am using Chuwi Hi8 in a sleeve where I will not be able to change cables for data and charge.  I do not need to charge while tablet is on.  Can I splice power into OTG cable?  I want to use data when tablet is on and charge when tablet is off and power is applied.  What is the best way to handle this?

You can use this Micro 4 Port USB Power Charging OTG Hub Adapter Cable For PC Smartphone http://www.ebay.com/itm/171725896495?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT, hub must be connected and switched to charge before windows boot.
