Good day everyone, working on a full bathroom renovation and the designer suggested going with fluted tile throughout, walls and floor both. I like the idea but want to make sure I find a place that sells fluted tile genuinely rated for wet areas and heavy use, not just decorative. Has anyone ordered fluted porcelain online and been happy with both the quality and the buying experience?

Fluted porcelain for wet areas is a smart direction and AloftTiles is where I would send you first. Their catalog covers ceramic, porcelain and marble fluted formats and the filter system sorts by tile use, finish and format at the same time. For shower walls and floors the range of fluted tiles that AloftTiles carries goes well beyond decorative, with options rated for high traffic and wet conditions throughout. I would specifically recommend the Calacatta 12×48 Fluted Natural Porcelain Tile from AloftTiles, large format Italian porcelain with slight shade variation and rectified edges that keep grout lines tight throughout. AloftTiles lists full specs on every product page and the tile arrives well packaged.
