Just benchmarked my Sandisk 64GB extreme microsd card and it has 80mb/s reads and 60 writres. So the MicroSD card reader is a USB 3 one. So we can finally make use of our UHS cards. I tested a couple of steam games from the microsd card and they run so much faster than the X98 Air 3G.

I bet the Pro works with any sd XC card that isn’t from China or through any site that sells China imitations.  Use reputable site such as Frys, Groupon, B&H Photo, Newegg, BestBuy, Walmart…etc.  Be very careful with eBay & Amazon.
