Which rom are you on? 1.03? It should work, if not run the OTA. If you are flashing it on a K9C3, use another Rom or run the update again (teclast ota)
Let me know. The K9C6 I just got this week, Play works out of the box. If you do have a stock dual boot K9C6, do a facotry reset.

I actually did a factory reset in android before even trying to mess with the play store. I was able to browse the store until I tried to install an app from it. It crashed immediately and now force crashes every time I try to open it back up.

November 20, 2015 at 1:05 am #16153How do you run an OTA update within Andriod.
I can’t find it on the ROM I was provided, but I also removed a lot of the bloat.
November 20, 2015 at 4:49 am #16162On Topic, I did have this issue.
To fix it you need to remove your google accounts under “Accounts”
Reboot the tablet
Add your google account under “Accounts”
and hopefully it works now.
If it doesn’t repeat the steps, and before you restart, go to settings > applications and see if the playstore app has any updates on it.
If there are any updates remove them, restart and readd your account.
This seemed to work for me.
I haven’t had a chance to thrash my tablet yet, I have found it is very dicky when i power it on, it stays on the battery screen and turns off.
after the 3rd attempt it seems to start OK? anyone else seen this one?
Apart from that i think i have won the Teclast lottery.
I will be doing the power mods tonight, and when my shim and IR thermometer rocks up.
Does anyone use a case with theirs? I am going to install a copper plate in my case to line up with the thermal mod, this should help the tablet run when fitted in a case.
I can also mount the tablet to some magnets in the kitchen so win / win 😀
November 20, 2015 at 11:56 am #16179just to add with any app behaving weirdly on android go into settings, apps, and then find the app and clear cache and data. Fixed a few problems I’ve had with apps.
February 21, 2026 at 3:20 am #247800Krásný den z Karlových Varů!
March 18, 2026 at 5:10 pm #248197If Google Play keeps crashing all the time and you can’t seem to fix it, the issue is often related to corrupted cache files, outdated system components, or conflicts with your device’s settings. A good starting point is to clear the cache and data for the Google Play Store, Google Play Services, and Google Services Framework from your phone’s app settings, then restart your device. Make sure your Android system and apps xciptv download pc are fully updated, as outdated software can cause repeated crashes.
