    google play crashing pretty much makes the whole thing worthless as 90% of the preinstalled apps are in chinese.

    anyone seen this?

    crashes on open and the sometimes if i can get it open in crashes when downloading apps

    have not downloaded a single app yet

    looks like great hardware,  but this is not the first impression needed

    install android update using TeclastAutoUpdate app (orange icon with arrow pointing upwards in circle)

    I tried installing the firmware on my rooted x98 pro using teclast autoupdate app but I get “installation aborted” during install. I uninstalled play store and install again using an apk but still the same problem it crashes every time. Any suggestions?

    try installing the custom rom. I’ve not done it yet but by all accounts its a lot better than stock. If you’re rooted then you could even backup your apps using titanium backup
