got My X98 plus dualboot from OKQI seller today, but …

i ordered the tablet on promo day (189$) on aliexpress from Shenzhen OKQI Electronics Mall official seller

shipping was fast, send on 26 jan and received it today, 8 days shipping, not too bad

• the tablet have strange behavior on boot, the screen is flikering on boot, like snow on screen, but after pass the dualboot open, screen become normal
• bios is 1.02
• updated maunally to android Fw 1.05 with teclast ota updater
• google play is crashing …
• the  tablet seem bit laggy …
• the tablet seem more heavy than my previous X98 pro
• pardise bay game is crashing and not working, but was working great on my X98 pro, or my sister’s X98 air 3G
• not able to root it yet …
• most of my micro SD card are not working, only the 16Gb kingston seem work great (got the 16gb kingston free with the tablet …..)

I also ordered from OKQI . Mine is currently in the UK and on it’s way to the Royal Mail distribution centre fifty miles away from me. Hope to have it delivered possibly tomorrow but defo in the next few days. When i receive it I’ll report on how i get on. In the meantime, i suggest you don’t click the ‘goods received’ button on your aliexpress account until you are happy with it.

The MicroSD issue can be fixed fairly easily with some drivers, I spent so damn long fixing them and tried 5 different cards.

When you say google play is crashing, is it just when you try to search or immediately on opening?

As you requested, i installed the android app paradise bay. Installed ok but refuses to launch. Out of interest also tried my Chuwi Hi8 dual boot. It installed and ran perfectly. Bummer!

At least you got software issues, I have problems with LCD(two very beautiful lines across the display).Fu***** gearbest!
