Look at chris review:
“Intel Graphics power settings had all the power (crippling) features enabled on battery and disabled on power”
I think you have to change settings of intel graphic driver
What I've used and what I've got:
TECLAST X98 AIR 3G, TECLAST X98 AIR II, TECLAST X98 PRO,CHUWI HI8, CHUWI HI12, CUBE I9March 10, 2016 at 6:39 pm #28741Look at chris review: “Intel Graphics power settings had all the power (crippling) features enabled on battery and disabled on power” I think you have to change settings of intel graphic driver
All the settings are disabled, with the settings enabled on battery the screen would not turn on at all.
March 10, 2016 at 7:26 pm #28747The dimming of the brightness is usually done using a PWM method. full brightness usually means no pulses, but a solid signal. I would say this is hardware. The driver is not capable of making these chopped pulses. Correct me if i’m wrong about the above theory, but I expect it to be a hardware issue.

It could still be a software issue. You can try by reinstalling windows 10, but I think it’s hardware. 🙁
I hope my tablet doesn’t have this issue…When did you order the tablet? (could be a problem related to a certain batch)
March 11, 2016 at 12:57 am #28785I ordered it a week ago.
What kind of hardware problem could cause this? Any work arounds to dim the screen any other way? its really annoying
March 11, 2016 at 1:52 am #28788Well the tablet is dead now. it will not charge, or turn on. That was a good run. BEWARE.

your tablet does not work anymore
March 11, 2016 at 9:19 pm #28916Did you discharge it fully? or what happened
March 11, 2016 at 9:30 pm #28923Very odd, must have received a bad unit.
Try this, hold the power button down for 15 seconds. Then wait 10 seconds, hold it down again for around 4-5 seconds. Any luck? If not hold the power button down for 15 seconds, then connect it to the charger and leave it charging over night and try again in the morning.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30March 11, 2016 at 11:08 pm #28954I let it discharge fully almost. Plugged in the charger the lights started glowing, then I pressed the power button. After that the lights went off, and now no matter how much I charger it the lights will not turn on (led)… I put it on a cell phone charger 5v (after reading online) I feel the battery is getting warm but no signs of life. On the original charger the tablet is not even getting warm when charging
which charger should i leave it on? i was reading online about trickle charge could help
5v 1amp (usb hub) or the original charger?
Now if all fails. can i try to charge the battery directly using 2 wires from usb port without unsoldering connections + -? or will it fry the board, and i must unsoldering the battery connections before charging directly?
