mostly a bluescreen freeze, look into logs. but your sentence says nothing. what you mean with hard to switch on…
November 27, 2016 at 8:33 am #57558@hans; It doesn’t switch on at all. After some time, after keeping the power button pressed for some tine (and/or with volume rocker) it switches on. Battery is ok and Windows seems to shut down ok.
November 28, 2016 at 6:19 pm #57737to me it mostly happens when the charger is attached to the tablet.. Nothing that worry me by the way, I guess it’s “normal”. Maybe I don’t understand your words but it seems you said something like shut down the tablet and after 30 minutes (for example) it’s hard to boot.. in that case, no it’s not normal.. It could be that the Power rocker is not very sensitive, try to press it deeply.. for example sometimes when I’m on Android I press the button to shut down, the power options windows opens, I release the button and immediately the screen goes off (not shutdown, just screen off), like I pressed the button two times: in my case I guess the rocker is a little unstable, or some sort of false contact, don’t know..
Don’t use the volume rockers with the Power button, it’s useless and it will make you boot the bootloader (power and volume down) or DNX mode (pressing all 3 buttons together).
On a side note, please remember that pressing the Power rocker for 10 seconds basically forced the tablet to shut down (can’t say what happens when it is already shut down), while pressing for 30 seconds it’s a boot reset (after you’ll see the chinese logo booting 4 times before the dual OS choice); naturally not an OS reset, all data and apps will still be there..
November 29, 2016 at 1:27 pm #57829Thanks for the input @brainvision. In my case the power-on problem usually occurs while on battery power 🙁
Could indeed by a problem with the button. I will give your suggestions a try. I have noticed the bootlogo appearing a few times at boot. I thought it was a response because I had pressed some buttons a few times 😉
December 8, 2016 at 8:25 am #58217I guest it is an electronic board draining out problem. I put usb drive with led indicator which will stop blinking after 20 sec after window comletely shutdown.
Which means i cant re open the tablet before all electric charges were drain out completely.

*Picard double face palm*
Read what I said… That totally a kernel panic / bluescreen problem under Windows. If this happens, pressing the power button wont turn it on anymore (you wont see the bluescreen not will it reboot on it’s own in most scenarios because stuck) because it’s crashed internally. Meaning if you long press it for 5 seconds, it’s a soft power off. Now it’s off. And when you wait then a few seconds, and then long press again, it’s a soft power on and will boot again. It’s normal behavior for a stuck kernel. But everyone working with PCs or Windows should know how Windows works. Otherwise, buy a Mac and ask Apple support.
Look into Window logs, youll mostly find something like “hardware failure” log entrys, something looking like this:
