Just an update / correction —- if my Cube is returned it will be to BangGood USA not to China —- marginally better? I am awaiting a reply from BangGood, and from a local business who may be able to replace the SSD, possibly providing another option.
March 23, 2017 at 7:33 pm #63854Bangood have replied asking if I wish to get it repaired locally and they would refund the cost. Although someone has suggested to me that this is unusual for them, I would probably opt for it but I have not yet found anyone willing to do the job. It seems that having to do some soldering is one reason — is that a dying art? Another is that they fear being lumbered with the warranty obligations (6 months left) — I had not thought of that.
Does anyone have any experience of, or comments on this situation?
April 10, 2017 at 6:01 am #64992I just receive my Mix Plus flash sale at 18th Mar, and I discover a backlight bleed on it. I ask my local reseller to request a replacement. He initially refuse and later reluctant to do it. Finally Cube China reply via email that he can return back my device for a replacement. He is going to send it tomorrow. It is not clear they will replace it as a flash sale error or under warranty service, in the later situation, it will take longer. Shipping fee from Hanoi to China, may be 2$ to 3$ for within 10 business days so the reseller is willing to cover it for me, it is not a warranty return though according to his opinion. I gave him a small gift. He is not sure if the replacement one would be better, it is up to Cube China. I hope they do good on customer service. That is all I know in my case
BTW the local reseller is not explicit about from which site he ordered my Mix Plus, so there may be delayed because of the intermediary channel policy and processing. Any one know about it. And the email is from Cube or the online distributor?
Also I’ve just applied a tempered glass for 6.6$. So I will lost it for a replacement
