Same with i7 Book . I canceled my order – got full refund.
Then ordered Chuwi Hi10 Pro – again nothing. Below answer from gearbest …
“Unfortunately, this order is not available to ship to you. Items you ordered are a hot sale and there have been significant supply issues with the manufacturer. We are as disappointed as you and feel let down by the manufacturer. We wish to apologize unreservedly for this situation.
Option 1 Exchange with another item of your choice
Option 2 Cancel this order”I am very dissapointed with gearbest
December 8, 2016 at 2:55 am #58211Yeah, I ordered on 11-11 too, same thing. I have pestered them four times and each time they say in four or five business days more. They keep putting this statement that asks me if I want to cancel, and that they are awaiting a response. Each time same thing. I say NO I don’t want to cancel, and they say thanks for your patience. I got the keyboard on Nov25th, and I really don’t want to get stuck with it. I don’t want to return it, and I don’t know that complaining to them has any significance. I thought about the new Kaby lake Cube Mix tablet that is $200 more and pre-orders until the 12th, but that might be another long wait. I don’t know who to ask either. You and I aren’t the only ones waiting, just not everyone is writing in this section. I’ll report back if I hear anything, and I hope you’ll let us know if you hear anything, thanks johnm

@John Macie: Thanks for letting me know about what’s going on on your end. I was about to send them an email yesterday, asking for a status update. Seems like they will just say the same thing. Did you order any other accessories with it besides the keyboard? I ordered a case and a tempered glass screen protector, but neither of those have been shipped to me. I’m guessing they’re gonna ship them with the tablet. I thought about the Cube Mix too, along with the Teclast X5 Pro, but $279 is way too good of a price to pass up. The page said pre-orders until Dec 12 and dispatch after Dec. 14. I wanted to know if they had any idea about what that dispatch after Dec 14 might actually mean as far as shipping goes. I thought that if they were going to say soon after the 14th, I’d cancel my i7 book order, send them back the keyboard they sent me, and find $200 more dollars and get on the Cube Mix plus pre-order. They said 5-7 days after the 14th. I got bothered by that because that’s the same thing they’ve said to me four times this last month about my i7 book backorder. I proceeded to ask them to be straight up and clear about exactly why they weren’t proactive and emailing me about the fact that my order was backordered, and why they put me in the position of begging them for info, four times. They just said “sorry” we’ll send as soon as we get it. Really kind of nonchalant, that pissed me off more. I’m not going to take a chance and send them $200 more and get the can kicked further down the road. I know Gearbest is better than this, but they hold all the cards, and my money. So be prepared out there. You might just not get the bargain you thought you might get.
December 10, 2016 at 12:13 am #58327I want to offer my 2 cents, I placed my order 2 days before the 11.11 sale. As plenty of people have said they were pushing back the shipping dates on a constant basis, from nov 15-16, it went to nov 20-25, then dec 1-3.
I pestered them like 6 times and I was angry since they had the posting during the black friday sale too as if they had plenty in stock. So after a couple of times they acceded to give me back my money and I said no willing to wait a few days more. The next time I talked to them they offered their apologies and made clear they would offer a compensation next time (some sort of voucher or discount I guess). I checked my order yesterday and was packaged, today it was shipped out.
First time buying a tablet and getting it from gearbest, it surely left a bad taste in my mouth, hopefully Ill get it in one piece and working properly.

@Jesus Gracia: Thank you for your perspective. It’s a good thing that you pushed it that hard. I’m sure if you didn’t, they wouldn’t have made you a priority. So it seems like it’s better to escalate calmly. I’m considering sending them a message letting them know how disappointed I am with my experience thus far. I’m sure the customer service rep has no control over what happens, but I’d still like to know what’s going on. Are they waiting on shipments from Cube? Did they just oversell? Is there any clear estimate as to when they’ll begin to ship out orders? Anyway, hope your tablet comes in safely and in working condition. It’d be a travesty if there was a problem with it and you’d have to return it, only to be stuck with the rest of us. Best of luck with your order!December 15, 2016 at 5:11 am #58709Update:
So I sent a message to GB about my unhappiness with the lack of information they’ve been providing and asking for an explanation about what is happening with the supply. I asked them why they continued to sell the device for a discount on Black Friday when they couldn’t even fulfill their order for 11/11. Here’s their reply:
“Once again we are sorry for this situation.
Cube i7 Book 2 in 1 Tablet PC 10.6 inch, we checked the item cannnot be sold anymore due to the supplier’s issue.
We would cancel the order if you don’t want to have a replacement.
Please consider the following options for the refund:” (Typos and grammar preserved from the original)
So apparently, Cube is the one with the issue, so GB can’t sell the i7 Books anymore. That’s probably why you can’t even find the i7 Book on GB’s site now. However, instead of reaching out to those of us who have been waiting, they kept us in the dark. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed with them. For those of you still waiting for your tablet, I suggest that you send a similar email, firmly asking them when you will get your tablet. If they ask you to continue to wait patiently, then they’re either lying to me or to you. Hopefully nobody loses their money over this whole debacle.

December 15, 2016 at 3:11 pm #58735I received a dispatch notification email from Gearbest yesterday (14 Dec) informing me my i7 book has been sent out. If production has stopped and stocks are limited I’m just hoping I have not been sent a refurbished tablet.

January 6, 2017 at 6:35 am #59983UPDATE: Cancelled my order with Gearbest yesterday. 2 months of waiting, and nothing in stock. I then ordered the same tablet through Banggood using the coupon (nabbing the tablet for the same 11.11 price that GB had). Received shipping confirmation today.
January 12, 2017 at 7:41 pm #60328UPDATE: Just got my tablet 10 minutes ago, everything seems fine, will check thoroughly once its fully charged, it took 2 months 2ish days to get to Mexico, 1 month waiting to be stocked and the next on transit. Had a bad experience for sure, but getting it at last changes your mood.
Sorry about that James, hopefully you get yours soon
