HDMI port replacement?

My hdmi output stopped working thanks to a misbehaving projector. Now I cannot get it to work again with any projector or tv.

It seems that the constant disconnection – reconnection with the bad projector killed the hdmi output of my chuwi.

Is it possible to replace the hdmi port? Are replacement parts available? Is there anything worth checking before physical repair?

hmmm… the projector could have damaged some circuitry inside the tablet, and that’s not an easy repair, if not even unfeasible at all.

replacing the port would only be useful if you damaged it physically, which does not seem to be the case

Thank you! One more idea: can someone with the latest xx8 bios please check if hdmi works? Because that was the other change after struggling with the bad projector.
