Hdmi to vga?

Hi guys

I want to connect my vi10 to my display with a hdmi->vga converter, but I can’t get 1920×1080 resolution, so the screen is a bit blurry.. I tried a bunch of different converters, but the problem is always the same: the maximum resolution I can get is 1680×1050, which has a ratio of 16:10 – if I choose a slightly lower resolution  (1600×900) to match my monitor which is 16:9, the image won’t fit the screen.
Any idea, how could I get fhd resolution with hdmi to VGA converters? I just can’t find a properly working converter.
