first of all i would like to say thank you for the great forum.
i received my chuwi about 3 days ago, i went to turn it on and do a lil playing with it for arround 3 hours, then i restart it to apply the updates from windows updates. after it done applying the updates it turned back on but without wifi. when i try to turn it on, it stays at the off. then i check in Device Manager got an exclamation mark at network Microsoft Direct Wifi Adapter. ive tried to update the driver and uninstall with no success so i gone through the reset process. now ive disabled the windows update so it wont get killed anymore.
my questions are, what if i do a clean install using Microsoft ISO? will i face the same problem? anyone have tried?

    Thanks

ive found an alternative regarding wifi issue after updating the Windows through windows update.

    1. Update Drivers before updating (I use DriverEasy for updating and DoubleDriver for Backing Up)
    2. Update Windows Through Windows Update
    3. Restore The Drivers from step 1
    4. Disable Network Drivers in Device Manager (SDIO and Tap, both of them)
    5. Reboot your tablet
    6. Enable the drivers from step 4 (Both of them)

Sometimes the wifi will crashed and wont be able to connect. just redo the 4th to 6th step again to fix this.

    Note :

    1. Windows will be updated to version 1511 build 10586.218
    2. Reboot wont work (it will be considered as shut down by the tablet)
    3. Powering on will take longer than the 10586.0 build (Stock win10) and the power button need to be pressed for 10~20 secs.

i end up using media creation tool to get my tablet to build 10586.114, it fixed the reboot problem but the wifi still crashed, using above method able to fix the issue. Or you can just reset the tablet and disable the Windows Update Services (Need to be Disabled if u choose manual u’ll still get the updates).

above problems occured if u went with media creation tools update(Not Clean Install), when i do a clean install, the problems just got worse where i unable to fix the wifi issue.
heres what ive tried to fix it :

    1. Updating the driver using windows update.
    2. Disable and Enable the drivers and adapter.
    3. Installing drivers from this site on 2nd post.
    4. Installing official firmware and drivers from chuwi.

    nothing works.
only OS from here able to fix it.

It looks like no one experiencing the same thing as i do with WI-FI Adapter since ive seen no reply in this thread…
Well if u faced the same problem as i do please share how you fix yours.

    Thanks

I think I got the same problem..  Tried loads of different Broadcom drivers. It says “connected but no Internet.”

    Chrome says”dns probe finished ”

Or it will turn off or won’t turn on at all.  Saying adapter problem
