what have you flashed ?
Because i have the same device and i have flashed:
“X98 Air 3G (C8J7) mirek190_v3.1” (with my own partition table – so i have 20 gn android and 40 for windows)
After this i flashed “dualboot bios tested C6J6 and C8J7” and installed the windows8.1 (english)May 20, 2015 at 8:37 am #5558and you can find the roms in here..:

before i will use rom android “X98 Air 3G (C8J7) Android 4.4.4 V2.00 (Official Rom)” but i not sure.
ok i will testing rom android “X98 Air 3G (C8J7) mirek190_v3.1″ to flashing
after flashed i must install windows 8.1 new? or not
Thanks again!May 21, 2015 at 6:28 am #5562If you choose “flash-system_only.xml” then the partition will not be touched – so only Andriod will be updated..
And i mean updated – all you setiing will still be there in adnroid..If you choose “flash-full_with_pattitioning.xml” then the it will quick erase all partition and you will be starting from zero..
So that means you must install windows again (from usb(windows),mouse and keyboard needed)And your welcome 🙂
