    Go into the bios (using a USB keyboard, pressing del at bootup of your HI12) and select the USB recovery drive as your first boot-option.

    What type of bootable USB medium are you using? And when plugged in, does your bios recognizes the bootable medium? (it should show up with a description of the type of media that is connected to that port)
