Hi everyone, i wanted to see the stats in GPU-z to see the clock speeds and how much gpu is being used. So when not playing games the gpu core clock runs at 500 and the memory clock runs at 800. When i go on a game or run Furmark (Gpu stress tester) it will downclock stright away to 400 Core and stays at 800 on memory…. I have plugged it in and same results… Any ideas why? thanks

I sign it. Have same situation on chuwi vi8 plus.

Edit: It appears to stay 500 under stress test while Intel turbo boost is disabled. Then cpu is limited to 1433mhz.

Edit2: Power draw increases from cca 6.5w with turbo boost to 10-11w without turbo boost. More heat is generated and chuwi vi8 plus begins to throttle down. Even Chris admited that chuwi vi8 plus never throttle down 🙂

Need to install fan in my tablet. sht just got real
