Hello,
I received my Chuwi Hi10 Pro 1 month ago, since a few days the touch screen is not responding. Until yesterday I could only get one single touch response per session (W10 or android) on certain part of the screen then it went frozen: the device cannot be used without touchscreen. Now I can’t get any touch response although Hi10 Pro boots normaly. Strange thing happened yesterday as well: spots (the blue circle one usely appearing when finger touch the screen), six spots went blinking at the same time in the same area (upper left corner, made a video of this).
I don’t know where to start from to solve this problem. I’m a beginner in tablet’s issue so I did what I found on the internet:
* wipe data and factory reset in recovery mode : no change
* discharge the full battery and then charge again before booting : no change
How can I check if it’s an hardware or a software problem? Should I reinstall android and windows in recovery mode, should I change the digitizer?
I don’t whish to send it back to China, as it seems to be very risky.
