    <hr />

    All

    I was using the chuwi hi12 windows 10 version only fine I shut it down normally and then left it one week. Went to turn it on… Nothing. I plugged it in no light and it isn’t charging. I tested the charger fine.

    I have tried desoldering the battery and charging it externally no luck

    Emailed chuwi who suggest talking to gearbest. After sending them photos they are offering me one of the following a repair or a 40 USD wallet credit. I’ve been reading online about the dreadful gearbest repair service so I have 2 questions

    Does anyone know how to fix this themselves?

    Should I risk sending it back to gearbest?

    Regards

    Take the $40 and consider it a victory dealing with international electronics distributors

    Don’t send it back, take the 40, Gearbest suck big time, I bought a Teclast from them, it was DOA, spent 100 to ship it back and nothing happened.  To say I felt ripped off is an understatement.
