I got my Chuwi Hi12 a few days ago with the known touchscreen issues. After an bios update the touchscreen fix did not work anymore. So I did a reset and touch responds improved alot. Original screen protector from factory is still on.

Now it is much better but still it does not recognize most inputs with my fingertips.  That being said Im used to my Samsung S5 smartphone which recognizes everything up to my nails.. the slightest contact is enough where it is not with the hi12. Hopefully you know what I mean.
So is this normal or is there something wrong with it? It doesn’t feel right to me and Im thinking about sending it back.

Any information / help / tips would be great. Thanks in advance

Do you mean accuracy or sensitivity? The H12 touch will not respond to finger nail but should respond to light touches of finger tip or pad. You should be able to draw unbroken lines in Windows Paint. If the accuracy is off you could try to calibrate in Control Panel Tablet PC Settings.

I think i know what you mean. I got it 3 days ago and at the beginning it was flawless. But today it feels all kinda laggy. Its so slow. Android and windows. Very strange….cant say what happend…i tryed some from the pinned topic: “how to reduce space and improve performace in win”. Only a few apps….

For example. If i am at the google playstore, sometimes i cant scroll in the discriptions of the apps. Its like no touch works. Only a ” strong” push after some seconds……its a mix not response and laggy feeling.

Edit: i used a simple touch test programm now and noticed that the touchpad smetimes dont recognice my fingers. It seems to be only if i swipe many times, because i had no problems typing this message.

I am relatively sure that problem didnt oucur on the first days of using this device….
