Hey, looking for advice here. I purchased a Hi13 tablet from banggood. It came in a soft Styrofoam package that received no respect in shipping. The screen was separated from the back near the rear camera and the keyboard pogo pin port. I snapped it back together and tried it. After 45 minutes the USB-C port would no longer support a flash drive unless it was through a powered hub or with a Y cable using an additional USBĀ battery. I did try to see if power management was the problem, but no luck Also it never supported pass through charging. Anybody got a pass through charging solution for the HI13? I tried a Jellas adapter that split the port into a USB 3.0 and a charging port. It seems USB-C will be my new curse word! The worst thing is banggood just says the port doesn’t charge as a tactic to stall my claim in addition to their other tricks. Telling a customer that his tablet is not able to power even a flash drive is insulting, and not true in this case. I do hope I misunderstood them. It was insured, but it was just dropped off at my door without a signature giving me no opportunity to refuse it, and only they can file a claim with shipping. I don’t understand why they are leaving me stuck. I filed the claim complete with pictures and video. I bought it using Paypal, so I guess I’m asking when should I just open a dispute case, and give up on Banggood as a reliable vendor? I apologize for my whining, and openly admit I am. I’d just like to resolve this without burning bridges.
