I reinstalled windows pretty much after I got it to have all the space available for windows.
I installed all the drivers, and everything seems to be working fine, except for the power options.

I can only configure it to Sleep, but not Hibernate. This means that I have to remember to manually shut it down (and closing all programs) or put it on a charger, since leaving it unused one day drains 50% of the battery in sleep mode.

I didn’t check if Hibernate was available on the original windows 10 installation.
Does anyone have any clue on how to get it working (go to sleep after x minutes, hibernate after y minutes) ?

The only thing I found was options to show hibernate if it was not visible in the power menu, but I couldn’t find anything about when it is missing completely (It doesn’t even show up in Power Options -> Choose what the power buttons do -> Shutdown settings

Of course, 10 minutes after posting I found the solution…

The hibernation file is set to ‘reduced’ by default (possibly on devices with little memory), so that only ‘fast startup’ is available, but not ‘hibernate’
The solution is to open a command prompt as administrator, and type
    powercfg /h /type full

For me that increased the size from 400MB for the reduced hiberfil.sys to 800MB for full hibernate support. Still quite acceptable given the benefits.
