Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30March 23, 2016 at 1:57 am #30483To restore hibernation option:
First, if necessary, enable hibernate via command posted by Chris above.
Then:
Settings>System>Power and Sleep>Additional Power Settings>Choose what the power buttons do
You can choose various options for power button, sleep button and closing the lid: Do Nothing, Sleep, Hibernate, Shut Down.
If you want to restore the hibernation option when powering down from the Windows start menu, click “Change settings that are currently unavailable”, scroll down and check mark “Hibernate: show on power menu”. Click Save Changes. Reboot. You should be able to to see hibernate option on Power menu on start screen.
If you want to configure the tablet to Hibernate after a certain period of time in sleep:
Settings>System>Power and Sleep>Additional Power Settings>Change when computer sleeps>Change advanced power settings> Sleep>Hibernate after
then choose period of time to pass before tablet goes into hibernation mode.
March 23, 2016 at 1:18 pm #30533thank You both for hints – I was able to restore Hibernation button and mode… looks like it is working – hibernated and restored my pulpit as it was before hibernation… so ok here 🙂
But major problem persists – for some reason I can’t normally (re)start device – if I choose Shutdown or Restart same happens – I have to try at least 5 times to long hold power button before it finally starts to boot. When I’m doing it diode above left-top corner flashes ones per whole process… after n-th try pushing power button it finally just starts like nothing happens! 🙁
What could be the reason? I’d like to try flashing BIOS but which is the correct one for me?

I just posted this. Hope it helps you: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/official-chuwi-hi-10-drivers-system-and-bios-files/
There is an explanation of how to choose the correct BIOS.
March 23, 2016 at 4:28 pm #30580Ok, so my BIOS is for 3000+ but links You have provided are broken – I was able to take them from original post You have linked… thanks for that! Would be nice if You fix links from your post.
Next thing – could anyone tell me which version of Windows 10 I can use to flash as it looks like mine is broken – can’t do system full reset – got error that “Recovery partition not accessible” (or smth similar, translated from Polish)
March 23, 2016 at 5:10 pm #30592So I have flashed device with BIOS for 3000+ it all went ok… problem still exists – could this be some hardware problem? Device was working ok from start and just one day it all started to have problems (re)starting before even BIOS info is displayed…

Within a few minutes of posting, I realized that the links were broken and fixed them. You likely clicked on the post while I was still trying to fix them. They should all be working now.
March 23, 2016 at 7:42 pm #30606. Other problems is that tablet have HUGE problems (re)starting – for example:
- I choose restart – system closes, tries to start and…
- nothing happens
- so I have to turn it off by long holding power button
- sometimes it is able to start again, sometimes I have to long hold power button few times before it finally starts
windows 10 is working without problems no device problems Could anyone help? At current state this table is barely usable.
There is a known Windows 10 issue where sometimes it boots up to a black lock screen. If you see the Chuwi logo flash and start to boot up, then end up with a black screen, try pressing Ctrl> then your PIN/password>Enter. Wait a few seconds to see if you get your screen back.
March 24, 2016 at 2:01 pm #30733problem is that Windows 10 does not start at all – when I try to start tablet nothing happens on screen, nothing from BIOS… after around 10 times try it finally starts and Windows 10 launches without problems.
Any one had similar problems?
Any idea if there is option in BIOS that could help me? -
