No… *FailFish* Don’t do that. Unbelievable. lul… i am laughing so hard right now. All those morons suggestion this “tip”. You know what “Cs” means, right? It stands for connected standby… with that registry entry you are DISABLING CONNECTED STANDBY. This means Windows thinks your tablet is a normal desktop, and THAT is the reason, why the energy profile gets back… If you set this setting to 0 on your tablet, you are disabled the tablets sleep capabilities, no supsend to ram anymore, no instago, it will mean, that when you press the power button, it will go into hibernate instead of sleep. It is of course the most stupid way to get it back. If you want some of the missing settings you need to do a bit hard work:

    https://nmilosev.svbtle.com/hidden-power-settings-on-your-windows-81-tablet

You need to test/google/go through each of the hash entries and set Attributes to 2, to get that setting back.

If you want to know what CS is and maybe learn something, read this:

High performance profile is hidden by Windows, because MS wants this on devices, which support CS. That also means if you disable CS, it will be shown of course.

It sounds…complicated to say the least. Would it have any benefit talking about performance?

Still high performance offers the possible of using all the cores on max and not using intel speed step. This gives a slight boost to Atom’s and also improves emmc reads and write speeds a little.
