Hi,
Something caused my Hi12 to refuse to power on today so after a number of long holds of the power button (around 10) it finally turned on, however I must have somehow triggered a CMOS reset (the tablet went a little crazy as it rebooted at the POST screen a few times), as the CMOS was reset the Android/Windows boot manager that is built into the BIOS somehow got re-enabled (I have never seen this happen when I reset defaults within the BIOS)… as I have done a clean install of Win10 thus wiping everything from the eMMC I do not have the utility to set the boot manager to disable and it is annoying to see it every time I power on or reboot the tablet, am I overlooking this setting within the BIOS or can I only disable it with the utility? if the utility is the only method could someone post a copy of the utility please?
I do not use sleep/standby, I have hibernation off and the battery was just over 60% charged.
thank you
[UPDATE]: I was cable to locate and extract the SwitchNOW.exe utility from the recovery image from Chuwi, if there is interest in sharing this I will be happy to help. I think this should be included in the Chuwi driver packages for the various tablets (Hi12, HiBookPro, etc.)
