    Got my X98 Air 3G yesterday and today I wanted to make a clean Windows Install. But there is something preventing me from it. I can’t get in the Bios. So maybe it’s a stupid question, but how to enter the Bios? I know that Chris tells in his Videos to press ESC when turning the device on, but when? I’m hammering ESC on the Keyboard like a maniac. Before or after the red Chinese Characters appear? Any other method?

    What else can I do wrong? I already tried two different keyboards which both work beautifully on the booted system.

    One method is to go into Windows 8.1 / 10 and search for advanced startup. There you can then go into the BIOS upon restarting.

    That did work. Awesome. But now the tablet won’t boot from the USB Stick. But that’s another problem, I have several sticks and hubs I can test with.

    Hmmm. It seems we have the same concern. I made a bootable Live USB Ubuntu Linux 14 LTS USB drive and I also cannot boot from it using this method or the BIOS UEFI method.

    I had to use another OTG cable. After that, everything worked as expected.
