This might just be the speaker(s) themselves. I mean, this is a pretty cheap tablet so I’m sure corners had to be cut somewhere. It’s decent enough with headphones, but yeah, the speakers themselves are pretty pathetic.
May 11, 2016 at 7:10 pm #36869On further inspection, it seems even the headphone jack plays at a lower volume. Compared it to a few other devices and at the highest setting, it’s loud enough to hear…but definitely not that loud. Funny, though…Windows still gives me the warning about hearing loss when I bump up the volume to max.
May 11, 2016 at 9:35 pm #36883Hi @all,
the sound quality of our pad is in my eyes/ears
very poor, missing bass and power makes listening of music a real disappointing experience. I tried a lot of equalizers, now, but none seems to really change anything, it looks like they are not able to configure the Intel HD chipset. Does anybody has a hint to solve this issue ?Thx
VerdelerUse “Viper4Android” and you will be happy

How did you manage to get v4a installed? I’ve had no luck. When I try to install the apk I just get a parser error. Tried to set selinux mode to Permissive by using selinuxmodechanger and ended up breaking Android and had to reload the rom.
I am using mirek’s 5.1 v3 though.

Probably the reason why mirek rom should not be trusted…
May 13, 2016 at 8:43 am #37118Hi Gerd,
many thx for your answer.
I am on Mirek’s rom, too and I am not able to get the viper driver installed because of issues with the Busybox version….
I will give the Remix OS a try today.Thx
VerdelerMay 13, 2016 at 12:04 pm #37135What means “Don’t forget to use some “irs”…”. Can You please explain how you get v4a work.
May 13, 2016 at 10:53 pm #37221Viper4Android installation worked for me when using these instructions:
- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66262822&postcount=16
Didn’t use the irs, though.
May 14, 2016 at 8:07 pm #37321I tried using selinuxmodechanger to set to permissive and it completely hosed my OS. I had to rebuild from scratch.

Thanks! This worked. Using mirek’s v3 ROM. Had to install Busy Box using TWRP method. Then used the apk in the first link (I had a different apk that wasn’t installing) and it installed fine.
Can’t really tell the difference using the stock speakers, but that’s probably just a limitation of speakers themselves. Going to try some nice headphones I have next chance I get.
May 15, 2016 at 8:59 pm #37467Ok got this working in Android and there is a definite difference…at least in terms of max vol. Can’t really tell much about the sound quality but I can’t complain.
Anyone get Viper4Windows working on Win10? I installed and configured it. No errors but nothing has changed as far as I could tell.
