How to improve battery life?

hey,

I use my Teclast daily, but noticed that it behaves a little different as say my Lenovo notebook when it comes to power management…

If I put it into sleep mode and back into my backpack it sometimes gets activated automatically (showing some Win 10 notifications). It then stays active so that it gets quite warm in the backpack and also consumes power and minimize the battery life.

on my lenovo it’s quite different: When putting to sleep it falls into some kind of deep sleep after a while and even after some hours, or even days of not using it actively it still holds it’s battery level.

is this a misconfiguration on the teclast or a special feature of the lenovo?

So for the time being I configured in the power settings of Windows 10 that the OS should hibernate as soon as the lid is closed or the power button pressed. Due to this the device is keeping its battery level when carrying it around in the backpack. Still it seems that the Lenovo Thinkpads have some decent power management features…
