How to install languages and updates

New to Jumper Ezbook3 Plus

Tired to use a Lenovo Thinkpad T530 laptop INTEL i7-3520M 2.9GHz when travelling (about 6 Kg and Andalousia was 30-34C at this time) i ordered a new ezybook3 Plus.

Receved it about two weeks ago when arriving at home in Canada. My first impressions are good but I can’t really work with it on good way.

First of all,I downloaded from Microsoft the French language pack but can’t install it.

The Windows Update system does’nt work too…

Reading in this forum I know there is a way to unlock Update it but I prefer wait to do this when my system goes perfect and I proceded a serious back up.

So do you know how to proceed to install the French Canadian language as main language in Win 10?

For shure update service its disabled. Look for this service and enable / run.

Thank’s for the answer, but the problem is when I go to Win Update, I can’t check ‘Unlock’ or ‘Lock’ … Same thing when I go to Language(s), we can see English,Chinese AND the French pack I downloaded before, but I can’t activate the French …

Finally,the problems are solved.

Windows Search – services.msc – Windows Update, no mark in the cases so I mark ‘Auto ‘ case  and ‘Exit’ .

 

The systems search and installed a lot of updates. I was afraid because I read here many ‘badlucks’ in a recent post about updates ‘jams’ ,

but after 2-3 hours, I opened my  laptop and all the systems works well.

I go in ” Windows Parameters” – ”Hours and language”, downloaded the French Canadian pack and the systems installed it and idem for the keyboard …

Now, all is running well…

I will continue to install my softs and after I project  installation of a second M2 250 GB SSD. So if you have one to suggest (about 150$) I’ll consider it…
