So once you open tablet, how do you put the back plate back on? Don’t you need adhesive glue again?

Dude, you tried to open it on in the wrong crack. Did you watch any of the videos?

OnT, I think the best way is to try to buy a used tablet

I doubt it will make sense to pursue that part, it seems to be secondary-part of the frame..

if you dont got any issues with panel & functions, what it seems you dont, then just live with that backcover and happy that its only cosmetic and on the keyboardstand that bottompart is totally covered..

I’m currently in the same boat as you. Did you figure it out? Does it have to be exactly at 49 x 52?

Hello, I purchased a X2 Pro and am looking to do some cooling modifications modifications to it. I cant find a 49mmX52mmX1.5mm Arctic thermal pad. The closest I can find is a 50X50X1.5. http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Thermal-Pad-1-5-Conductivity/dp/B00UYTTMNI Would this work on the copper heat sink? Also I assume this is going on top of the copper heat sink, have you tried a thermal past like arctic silver on the SoC it’s self or is there to much of a gap between the screwed down copper plate and the SoC? Then A 50mmX50mmX0.5mm Arctic pad on the back of the case http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-Thermal-Pad-1-5-Conductivity/dp/B00UYTTMNI

    (sorry forgot to quote you)

@Ja I just wanted to ask the same exact question…

It’s too sad to waste an USB port for wifi (i’ve bought this tablet because i can use 2!)

Can’t we use an internal M.2 wifi card?? Would it be possible in any way?

You said you can replace the 64GB SSD with a 512 GB one. Can I also use a 128 or 256 GB one? Is there anything important when buying an SSD as replacement?

For those who want dual os on the teclast x2 pro, got it working with the android x86 cm13 version.
also tried out the normal android x86 rc6, which is a bit more convenient to use because of the resolution (icons are bigger ...) but still wifi isnt working

just put the android x86 cm13 iso with win2disc on sd install on another partition without install grub to win partition! then boot windows and install grub2win, change boot priority to win2grub bootloader. now you be able to switch between each installed os.

the only problem seems to be switching the os without the keyboard, because the touchscreen doesnt recodnize any type.
i found some "switch os" files for other teclast dual os tablet, but they arnt working.
if anybody find out a way to get this done pls free to let me now, thx
