With a VIN report you can discover hidden problems, unless they were fixed or discovered through non-official shops. Maybe I didn’t explain it super well, but basically the point of a VIN report, like from FAXVIN where they have free and paid versions, is that you get all the data from registries, insurance companies and so on. If there was an accident but it wasn’t officially recorded, it won’t be in the report. Same with repairs at third-party shops. You definitely need to do a VIN report. But you also need to check the car’s condition with mechanics and auto specialists.
