Hi guys,
capacitive back-lit buttons are driving me crazy.
Could you help me turn the light of backlit home keys off?I would be grateful if you could help me.

1. enter BIOS
2. erase disk
3. install windows 10 from usb
4. install the drivers – where can I find the drivers? What are the disadvantages of reinstalling windows?
Could Chris try it first?September 6, 2016 at 1:27 pm #49024This method doesn’t work. I think that I will have to do the clean install.

You can turn off capacitive buttons of MiPad 2 (Windows).
You just have to uninstall a driver.September 23, 2016 at 1:14 am #50446But, which one?
September 23, 2016 at 8:04 am #50450There are two ways of doing that.
1. Clean install (Windows 10) + do not update:
Device manager -> Human Interface Devices -> I2C HID Device2. Uninstall:
Device manager -> Human Interface Devices -> *HID Focal Tech*I do not recall the driver name. It is called something like HID Focal Tech
If you will give me the screenshot of the Human Interface Devices I can tell you which driver you should uninstall.September 23, 2016 at 8:42 am #50453That did it, thanks! It’s HID Focal tech touch and after disabling it, the entire touchscreen stops working, but after a reboot touch works, but without the annoying lights!
