i10u WiFi 'dropping' under load

Hi, I’ve had my i10 Ultimate for a few months now and am gernally quite happy with it.

There’s just one issue I have been unable to fix and it’s bothersome. When using WiFi and maxing out speed and/or having several downloads at the same time – under both conditions, I think – the WiFi connection often just stops working. I’m still connected, but cannot access any online source anymore before disconnecting and reconnecting manually.

Has anyone had the same issue or knows whether there might be a fix for this?

If your talking about Windows (not Android), Happened to me too (also with less wifi-activity). I updated the wifi driver (Device manager) and it seems to work better now.

Update the drivers, also mouse + wifi will cause slow down. I get this on my Hi12, it’s because both use 2.4Ghz band and it’s single antenna design.

Thank you, updating the drivers appear to have helped!

For some reason I thought that Windows Update would take care of that automatically…

@Eduardo, use update-option within device manager.

@Blackburn @Bleb, disabling IPv6 (if not using it), might also improve stability.
