    The same happened to me.

    Brand new from Best Gear.   It came rooted and play store enabled.

    Android/Trojan.Fadeb.a

    /system/app/Twitter.qd.3025.apk

     

    This latest ROM release is also v 1.0?

    Are you doing Adb to flash the ROM img file?

    I am struggling with this i7….   No recovery partition, I have to relay on apps for backup…..

    McCafee says it can do this stuff below – did you notice any activity?

    Android/Agent.AP conducts various malicious activities like the following:

    • Send SMS messages to premium phone number
    • Send device information like IMEI, network operator name, device model, etc., to remote server
    • Download other malicious APKs and requests users to install them
    • Contains other malicious APKs in it
    • Request Device Administrator privilege to make its uninstallation difficult
    • Accesses various 3rd party Advertizing URLs in background to make revenue
