Today my Jumper Ezbook 3L Pro has arrived, and I was in for a pleasant surprise.
The display panel seems to be IPS or a very good TN (regardless how I change the viewing angles the colors remain the same – so I presume it is IPS).
The main difference from the 3 PRO is that the display for 3L is 14 inch and not 13 inch.
Also – what I have noticed so far:
– the sound is probably the worst part – it comes through some holes in the back (where the main body and the screen are joined together).
– it has Intel dual band wireless AC
– it comes with Sandisk eMMC
– maximum temperature under stress was 54 celsius
– you can add an M.2 2242 SSD, but it is impossible to put in a 2280 M.2 due to the fact that the slot is placed too close to the margin on the laptop (so it is impossible to do any kind of trick to solve this)
Battery seems impressive, under normal load I think it will last even more than 8 hours on the “Balanced” power plan.
Performance is ok for light office work, but I am really curious when are we going to see the new Gemini Lake CPUs.
