An excellent tablet. I got it from Gearbest, with the keyboard, and it took 10 days to arrive. I have used it for 12 days.

I installed a 128GB Integral SDxc card from Amazon, and it reads / writes at 71 / 21 mb/sec & I verified the SD card with FAKEFLASHTEST.exe app.

I also got this MoKo 13.3 Inch Apple MacBook Air / Pro Laptop Bag from Amazon. The tablet / keyboard fits all the way in, with space on either side, for a flash pen perhaps. It’s possible that the iPad pro 12.9 case, on the same page, may also work with the i12 & keyboard, but I wanted to be sure.

The i12 internal Toshiba drive reads / writes at 146 / 68 mb/sec.

I have not booted into Android with the 128 GB SD card installed, as some people have reported the SD card not being recognised by Windows device manager after going back & forth between the 2 systems. Not sure if that would happen with the i12, as this issue, if true, may have been resolved. Perhaps the SD brand is the problem, although I don’t see how that makes sense.

In any case, I have not checked if Android will see all of the 128 GB or just read it as 32 GB.

The i12 tablet itself, with the keyboard and also without keyboard is much better than I thought. I am used to my self-build desktop, which will handle everything, so I had no idea what to expect from a portable tablet. It’s very well-built, which is a good sign of internal quality, IMHO, and very responsive on screen & with keyboard.

3 issues or problems so far, and it’s worth giving an outline of them.

I have noticed the first 2 problems during the early stage of charging the tablet.

First, I let the battery go down until the warning comes up at 6%, then switched the tablet off & plugged in the charger. After an hour or 2, I switched the tablet back on and the battery icon showed A/C, meaning fully charged. A click on the icon showed about 20%, however. So, I unplugged the charger & plugged it back in, switched off. Further checks, switching it back on, as time passed, showed a good progression toward 100%. So, charging the tablet whilst switched off appears to stall at about 20%. This happened twice.

Second, I let the battery go down to 6%. This time, I closed the keyboard-cover to put the tablet to sleep, and plugged in the charger. I opened the cover after an hour to see 12%, then closed the cover. I checked again after an about another hour, opened the cover & no response; also no response on touching the screen & no keyboard response. I pressed the power button & no response, unplugged the charger & pressed the power button; no response. Tablet appears to be bricked. I left it an hour or 2 as someone came to visit with a broken laptop for me to fix (!), and then went back to the tablet, opened the keyboard-cover & everything OK, battery up to 65%. Charging went all the way OK.

So, some possible anomalies with the early stage of charging, I guess, although this is my first impression.

Third, using the i12 as a tablet without the keyboard-cover & using Chrome & browsing on F11 full screen, means that there is no return to normal web page view as there is no F11 on the virtual k/board. The solution, until a better one appears, is to go to start/all apps/windows ease of access/on screen k/board. Then right click to pin this app to the start page.

Then, whilst browsing in F11 full screen, click on this other access-keyboard from the Win start page, then click on white space on the web page to register a return to the current web page, then press FN & F11 on the access-keyboard. The F11 key press is now seen by Chrome.

There must be a better, replacement virtual keyboard that is more versatile than the inbuilt one, but I have not looked into that as yet.

***found the FN F11 keyboard in settings / devices / typing / add the standard keyboard….*** Then its possible to toggle the virtual k/board between standard & extended mode to get the function keys.

i found the stock file manager recognizes that the SD card is there, but you can’t browse or select it.

also in Android if you disconnect the keyboard you cant use the volume rocker to raise or lower the volume.

With the Cube iWork 10 i get only 40 read Speed and not 70.

Hi.

I have a problem with MicroSD me off, not identified.

The microSD works fine on another tablet and mobile phones, also with other microSD gives failures.

Anyone know because it is a solution.

Well, the first tests to do would be to take it out & put it back in, then format to exfat while it is in the tablet. But I guess you have tried these 2 things. Also, try another card, meaning a different make of card.
