install linux, how?

I have what the about screen says is a Chuwi Hi8, atom processor, 2GB ram, 32bit windows 10, 64bitcpu?  First question is: why is it using 32bit win10 if it’s a 64bit cpu?

2nd question: how do I get at the bios screen and install PCLinuxOS?  Don’t like win10, want to use Linux instead.

3rd question: Is this Chuwi a good enough device to do this with?

4th question: Is it possible?

hey man,

it can be done. you need the usual stuff for windows reinstallation which can be found here https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/windows-10-upgradeclean-installation-guide-for-dummies/ except use a bootable linux except windows installation.

as far as i know using win 10 is the best option now since the android part is old, although still usable. i dont know how it will run or will it support all the hardware. try and let us know.
