installing windows 10 update

my tablet has around 15 gb free space in windows partition, i got a update of a new build of windows 10 which acquires  around 4.5gb, so remaining space becomes 11.5gb.

After downloading the file when installing there is an error message telling that minimum space needed is 14gb.

So can anyone help me out how to install that update?

Hi, I had the same message so I made a windows clean disk and disabled hibernation, after some over twick I am be able to install the update.

You could also disable the virtual memory (pagefile.sys) for the time it takes to install the update and then re-enable it when the process is complete. Also delete all the files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, these are the patches that have all ready been installed.

You also can delete the older version of windows in settings/update. but you won’t be able to get back to past version if any needs.
